  • WATER REQUIREMENTS

    Dedicated cold-water access line with a standard female
    3/8” compression fitting and a manual shut off valve (4 feet
    from the machine). Water hardness should be tested before installation for proper filtration to be installed. There should be between 2-4 grains per gallon of hardness going into the machine. Repairs due to improper water filtration are not supported by
    warranty.     Minimum incoming water flow rate of 35 GPH and maximum line pressure of 70 PSI / 5 BAR. This machine has stainless steel boilers. Please insure chloride levels of water coming into the machine are between 0-30 ppm (parts per million).

     

    DRAIN REQUIREMENTS

    The Rocket Espresso R9 requires an open gravity drain beneath the machine. It’s our recommendation that you drill a 2.5 inch hole directly beneath where you will place the machine. Please see the diagram for an example. Please note, space is required beneath the counter of the espresso machine for drains, pipes, and filtration.
